Very often it is because of inadequate credit reports before the order was accepted or reluctance to chase payments. Introducing Commercial Angles into the collections process shows your customer not only that you perceive that a problem exists with the overdue receivables but it also identifies the root cause of the problem more quickly. Also if the debtor is outside UK, our knowledge of different cultures, languages and commercial practices may assist in a speedier payment.
Commercial Angles' service includes establishing the reasons for non-payment and advising on the action to be taken. Wherever possible we will attempt to negotiate an agreed settlement on your behalf. However, legal action as a last resort can not always be avoided. When this action is necessary and if you authorise this step, we will either originate County Court action ourselves or we will brief solicitors, who specialise in High Court debt collection, to pursue your claim. Commercial Angles also provide credit reports on potential clients to reduce your risk of overdue receivables in the future. These reports benefit from our local knowledge and tend to be more up-to-date, particularly about small businesses, than those from large global credit reference agencies.
